How do you restore backup files from floppy discs: backup.001 control.001, backup.002 control.002, etc.

Can you use DOSBox to do this?

Can it be done on a Mac?

yeah, it doesn't really matter whether you use Dosbox on OS X or Windows... you just need the right restore.exe (and maybe set Dosbox to fake the correct dos version for this restore exe (set ver command))
