Hi folks,

Anyone know anything about the OAK Spitfire PCI cards? There is pretty much nothing on the internet about these? How is the DOS performance, what windows versions are supported and how is the 2D acceleration? Drivers work ok? Image quality?
I can get one, but the price is a little steep, but it does have me intrigued purely as I have not come across this chip before. I have come across these odball PCI cards before, and guess I am hoping for a pleasant surprise as happened with the ARK LOGIC PV2000, that is a real rocket for DOS, but the windows drivers are pretty dreadful(and hard to find working copies of).

Have OTI-64111. In diag graphics does 9.75MB/s. Thats bottom of PCI cards. Slightly better than SiS 6215/6205 card, but much worse than most other. For example Virge (325) do 19,63MB, Ark Logic PV2000 have 25,31MB - thats 2,5x more. I wouldnt go for Oak, its lowend similar to Realtek or Trident.....Btw fastest PCI card i tested was 3Dfx Voodoo 3 2000 16MB.
