I have insalled Descent2 with the d23dfx106.exe patch and try to launch with glidos.
I get error - not enough strings in text file - expecting 649 found 644.
Any help please

I had the same problem. You need to get the v1.2 patch for descent 2 before the d2_3dfx.exe will work.
