I was pleased to win an auction a few days ago for a POD 200 for about $18 shipped. This is the highest supported processor for my Packard Bell Multimedia C110. Some quick results-
3dbench: P133-115.1, POD200-144.7
PCPBench: P133-27.4, POD200-37.4
Speedsys: P133-98.37, POD200-148.66
Speedtst: P133-321.3, POD200-485.5
Doom: P133-57.06fps, POD200-71.2fps
Quake: P133-27.8fps, POD200-39.3fps
In addition, disabling L1 drops speeds to just under an AM386DX-40. Very pleased, this is the closest I've come to an ideal DOS PC in terms of playing SVGA games smoothly and playing 386-era games accurately. 😀
The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know.
