I wanted to find out if anyone has drivers for the Apexx Tech GameLan. Its a serial port network device. I've got the starter kit but it is missing the drivers.

I tried to see if I could track them down online but I could not find a copy of them anywhere. I found the download page on the Apexx Tech website through the internet wayback machine but unfortunately it links to an FTP so they don't have the files archived. Apexx Tech was later bought by esoft but it does not look like they ever hosted the drivers for that product and are now also gone.

I'd argue that esoft seems to have hosted them on THEIR FTP as well. Unless that was merely part of the domain transfer.

Also, always mention the filename in these sort of searches. In your case, it seems to be:
"gameln12.exe - GameLan Driver Version 1.2. Works with WFW, Win95, Win98, & DOS."

Ah I did not notice that the FTP had switched after esoft bought them.

Yeah I definitely should have put the filename in the first post. Sorry about that.

I think in this case it might just come down to someone having one of these on a shelf or tucked away somewhere that could rip the driver floppy for me.
