I've got a Fujitsu Lifebook C6387 with a broken Panasonic JU-226A floppy disk drive. Yesterday I got a Toshiba Satellite Pro 4340 with a working floppy drive, but it's a Mitsumi D353G.

When I looked that drive it at first, I vaguely remembered the Panasonic bigger than the Mitsumi so I assumed they're not compatible. After looking for datasheets, they seem to have the same size (but in different carriers/guides/whatever) and have the same connectors in about the same positions.

Do anyone knows if they're fully compatible? Can I replace that broken Panasonic with the Mitsumi drive?
