Noticed that GOG have all the Star Wars games on sale, but they also just released Shadows of the Empire!

Just tried it on a Windows 10 PC, the game works fine at 1920 x 1080 and plays smooth at constant 60 fps. I played the first 3 levels and they work fine 😀

Brings back some good memories. I think I had a Pentium 133 with S3 card and Orchid Voodoo when I played that game.

Wait, it's possible to get past the first level?

I wonder if they did anything special to it, or if it's just using the ordinary well-established fixes that are already floating around?

They included their own DDraw to DirectX9 wrapper.

I wish they added the N64 cutscenes as an option (written text + drawings/pictures). The pre-rendered 3D ones of the PC version didn't age very well (and already looked bad at the time), and the voice acting is very corny.

The more sound cards, the better.
