Hello,

I just installed Petit Dosbox on my Macintosh, and although I used the "Browse" button to chose the directory where my DosBox (.63) executable is stored, Petit Dosbox tells me that "dosbox was not found in the specified path".

Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to fix that problem? Help! 🙁

Maybe you need to point to the DOSBox excutable instead of just the directory?

The executable itself can not be selected, as he asks for (and only lets me chose) the directory.

Petit dosbox only works with the Terminal version. Make sure that the version you have does not have ".app" extension.

Where does one find the "terminal" version of DosBox for Mac OS-X instead of the ".app" version?

Found Petit Dosbox Incorporated via VersionTracker this morning. Thank you for bundling the two together.

I get the following error message or similar attempting to run Petit Dosbox Incorporated on two different machines from the Desktop. Does this suggest and installation error or the absence of the Developer Tools?

dyld: /Volumes/Macintosh HD/Users/davidjones/Desktop/pdosbox/Petit dosbox.app/Contents/MacOS/DosBox can't open library: /usr/local/lib/libSDL-1.2.0.dylib (No such file or directory, errno = 2)

To run DOSBox (not Petit dosbox) you need to have the SDL Library installed in your computer.
