Right off the bat...does ANYONE have any information on this thing?

I picked up this little beauty at a thrift today. Cost me a whole $2.50. The thing is still sealed so I'm hesitant to open it up and try and get close up details. I've been googling for hours and can't find much more than a PC Mag quick coming soon article and some MPEG FAQ mentioning that an "Ace Movie24" board can handle a bunch of features.

From the picture on the box, it's an ISA card, but other than it offers AMAZING full screen video playback, I can't find any information on it. What standards does it support? Can it be used on any of the few games that can take advantage of such a card? Is it nothing more than a way to watch VCDs?

Any help would be appreciated.
