I recently obtained an old 486 PC, but the case has seen better days.
Fortunately, the inside looked much better than the outside.
However, upon closer inspection, I noticed something peculiar about the CPU socket.
The CPU itself is an AMD 5x86 CPU, but it's plugged onto some type of adaptor.
It has 3 dip switches at the bottom with a version number of 5.0 printed on it.
Is this some type of voltage regulator?
Does anyone perhaps have a reference card/manual to indicate what the settings of each dip switch represent?
I've attached a couple of pics as well (apologies for the quality, I took it in the dark with the flash on).
