Hi! I've installed Dosbox under Win XP PRo successfully. As I can find my sound cards' (SB Live) settings in the System Control, I wanted to ask for the settings I have to put in the config file.

I've tried to start Monkey Island 2 with the predefined (SB16) sound settings, but the game crashes ...

Can anybody help?

What is the error message, if any? Are you sure your copy of the game isn't corrupted?

Also, have you tried ScummVM instead of DOSBox for running that game?

Oh, have you also tried running the game with the i or a parameters to see if it's actually a sound configuration issue?

The sound card in the host system DOES NOT MATTER. DOSBox emulates E V E R Y T H I N G.

Yes, it’s my fault.

Hi! Thanks for your help. I don't know why Monkey 2 crashes, maybe I should check the data. There is no error message and no hint that the game could be corrupted. It's good to know that the Blaster Settings are not the reason that the game crashes.

Lucasarts games used the Function keys to call up the menus. I think F5 was the common one to open the load and save dialog.
