For a while I've been noticing weird coloured seams on Lara's model, especially the face. They only seem to appear at certain angles. Is this something to with with drivers or a Glidos problem? It's not a major issue, I'm just curious

I currently have nVidia drivers version 66.93 installed. I noticed it in several earlier versions too, but I don't recall seeing it when I first started playing TR on Glidos about two years ago. That would have been around driver version 40.72.

Incidentally, I thought it might be something to do with antialiasing and/or anisotropic filtering so I turned them both off but it didn't make any difference.

There used to be a problem like that, which was to do with a bug in OpenGLide. nVidia dealt with an aspect of OpenGL in a non standard way, and OpenGLide assumed it. nVidia's drivers later had this configurable, with the wrong behaviour being the default, but then they swapped to making the correct behaviour the default and some programs started seeing these lines. Was fixed in OpenGLide, though, some time ago.

So is there something I can tweak to test this out? Where would I find this? Didn't see anything like that in the driver config panel.

i remember i could get rid of this seams if i turned off mipmapping in glidos config file some time ago (version 1.25 i think)

As Robertmo suggests, it definitely looks like a mipmapping issue. Try disabling it in OpenGlide.ini. I've had this problem for ages with my GF2 Ti, then GF3 Ti, and whatever the driver version.
