Duke Nukem 2: Illegal Call 7 Error

I tried to run Duke Nukem 2 with DosBox, and when I type the path of the exe and press enter, the colours of the fonts in the Dosbox go a different colour, then nothing happens. If I press anything now, it comes up with an "Illegal Call 7" error. What does this mean? How can I fix this so I can play my favourite dos game? Please help!

Please specify what version of Windows you are using and your computer specs. Depending on this, you may not even need DOSBOX.

deleting or emptying File_id.diz helps
