It actually is. The GPL allows you to distribute and monetize that distribution. You must provide a copy of the license and access to the source for all users of the software.

Yep that's a fully-intact expansion board for a NeXt computer, I'm surprised it doesn't go for more honestly. NeXt parts are quite rare to find in good shape these days.

Not unreasonable for what it is. There probably weren't a whole lot of them made. A motherboard replacement with 5 processors would have been outrageously expensive when it was new.When was the last time you saw one like it for sale anywhere?

They're historical. One of the first semi-accurate DSP's for the computing world. And this board gives 5 DSP modules to the NEXT computer. It's probably worth more than that and they're under-selling themselves. There weren't very many made.. although finding a good version that works of the computer that drops in to would be as much or more than the board it's self costs.

And that's not even taking into account the "Jobs effect" that saw all hardware Steve Jobs had a hand in skyrocket in price after he died. I wish I had been stocking up on NeXT systems and parts beforehand. 🤣

I think it's funny that the site description has it's specs in fractions of Ghz and GB instead of Mhz and MB.

Yeah.... The site is based on the assumption, that stuff on sale are no more than 10 years old.
This explains why there is no option for MB or Mhz, when you wish to create an sales add.
The good part of this, is that you can allways spot if the seller knows about hardware.
I have seen, from time to time, something like a 486 for sale. Were the seller states the CPU as a 66 or 80 Ghz model.
Or have written that the P4 was running at 3000 Ghz.
