I walked along with my dog, passing by the convenience store and bought a can of beer. Then I continue my road going to the lake, walking in the forest to find a place where I wont be bothered with overzealous policemen. Then I sat on the shore to drink the alcoholic beverage, listening to music on my earbuds while the dog was doing his things. My mp3 player was on random and while I was watching the full moon's reflection on the water, a SEGA Master System SpellCaster music started to play (the one when you meet Daikak). It felt like I was in that game, there was many elements related to video games artefact. But the strongest ressentiment is that I was being there, doing what always inspired me the most in video games as a kid.

You're definitely on the radar! 😁 You might want to calm down...

I did once do some 'errands' for a guy who called himself El Burro. That guy had a strange way of rewarding people...

Yeah Kreshna Aryaguna Nurzaman, I think you catch my drift ! I wasn't expecting fighting games story, but why not ? My idea was to relate moment that made you remember part of a video game you used to play.
Once my dog was in the river and was all twisted, the picture of it recalled a video game I used to play.sea_dragon.jpg

I did, but I don't think there are many of such moments though. I wonder if there are real military pilots on Vogons, maybe they could share moments related to flight sims like F-15 Strike Eagle III or Gunship 2000. Now that would be awesome.

By the way, from which game did your photo come from?

Never thought this thread would be that long, but now, for something different.....

My idea was more about role playing games moments felt IRL, you got me by surprise with your fighting and flight sim games. But I guess any answer is good.

It was a monster from the bestiary of miracle warriors on the sega master system. It is called the "sea monster" his 100 charisma loss is well worth the random potion of resurrection it sometime drops. When you are at the end of the game, what do you care the villagers think of you ?

There was a time back in the 90s when I was an inexperienced driver and nearly lost control of my car in the rain. It started as a pretty nasty fishtail as I turned too fast onto a wet street with oncoming traffic. After I seesawed a couple of times and stabilized it, I realized I had just subconsciously played a familiar moment from NASCAR Racing in real life. I had the same sinking feeling in my gut that I got when this happens in NASCAR, I instinctively reacted the same as if I was playing NASCAR, and it worked out. This was back when I used to play that game constantly. I had no prior real-life experience with a loose skid like that, and I believe if I had not been playing that game, I would have mishandled it and wrecked. Totally worth the $50.
No, I don't drive that carelessly anymore, that was a long time ago.

It was WolverineDK who first noticed the similarity of my photo to Ken stage in Street Fighter when I posted the photo on my social media. Note that the boat is blue in certain Street Fighters version, which could be the reason why WolverineDK instantly thought about Street Fighters when I posted my photo.

😳 Glad you survived it! Surely it wasn't a video game moment in real life one wants to repeat.

EDIT: anyway, this page is full of Street Fighters moments in real life. Whoa. 😳

4. Sagat’s Stage in Street Fighter II

This giant Buddha statue in Sagat’s stage is based directly on the Ayutthaya Ruins in Thailand. If you’re in Bangkok, you can catch a riverboat to tour the ruins and ancient temples, all for about $65. Tiger uppercut!

I heard a stats on the radio that guy that play driving car simulation have better handling on dangerous situation but also cause more accident for they are more challenginh.
Every morning, on my way from home to job I take a very turny highway exit, I do it like they show me in a f1 racecar tutorial, not as I learned it in driving school.

now that you mention it, I wonder if any RPG feature that ... it would be gross, is your real name being Duke Nukem ?

I think Little Big Adventure featured NPC that where peeing with little yellow balls on an arc to mean pee... They where army guards and you can surprise or take advantage if you caught them peeing.

I have an attached garage, every time I get the car in there I feel it should get out repainted differently, I am so ashamed of myself... too much bowling and not enuf car painting in my garage.
