Pretty much everyone knows about Internet Explorer 4, which introduced a feature that made the Windows 95, NT 4, and 98 systems more web-like. One thing that puzzles me is the the channel bar on the right side on the screen, you know, the ones that say channel guide, broadcast, disney, wb, etc. My question is, what was the purpose of this bar? Was it a more attractive way of accessing favorites?
