Read the disclaimer at the bottom of every page:

This site hosts no abandonware. There is no material that is knowingly illegal here.

VOGONS as a forum could never have lasted as long as it has and been so increasingly vibrant if this principle had not been followed. It adds a whole other level of civility and respect to everything and it's reflective of the general spirit of this community. Let's keep it that way.

On the other hand, you can download your games from abandonware sites at your own risk, and if you ask for help here without mentioning where you got it, nobody will ask any questions, usually 😜

The DPI on your mouse might be really high for such an older resolution game. Hard to say though without more details about your specs.

Warcraft 2 was CD exclusive, so you download it by inserting the coaster into your computer's useless cupholder and watch it go in real life

I started typing <warcraft 2 scrolls too> into Google and it immediately suggested <warcraft 2 scrolls too fast dosbox>. Why didn't you try that?

IIRC, there was a rumor that Blizzard was working on Warcraft and Warcraft 2 similar to the patches for Diablo 2 and Starcraft. Don't know how true it was though. If they are doing so then more than likely they'll have them available on their store.
