Try limiting the available diskspace through the Compatibility Toolkit's EmulateGetDiskFreeSpace. I think this fix is included in Win 98 or XP mode but I can't check at the moment.

Something tells me in the ACT there's a way to fake the remaining free space on a disk? Can someone confirm as I'm too busy right now to check....Edit.. see post above 😀

Sorry to dig up this old thread, but I had the same problem.

I installed Trophy Bass 4 v1.0.0.0, which ran fine. I then installed the v1.0.0.4 update patch from here -> http://sierrahelp.com/Patches-Updates/Patches … assUpdates.html , and then ran into the same problem when running the game... got the error message "You need at least 50MB of Free disk Space to play Trophy Bass 4" and then the game closes back to the desktop when clicking "OK". Windows XP's compatibility modes didn't help at all (W95/W98 compatibility modes).

I then installed an older update, v1.0.0.2 from the same link above, and eveything worked fine.

It must be a glitch in Sierra's v1.0.0.4 update patch. I'm not sure what was fixed from v1.0.0.2 to v1.0.0.4, but v1.0.0.2 runs just fine 😀

MAN! Now if I could figure out some way to play multiplayer games via IP to IP, since WON Network has gone by the wayside 🙁

Might be worth talking to James Leiterman about WON since he is the developer of the INN Barn project. INN was a precursor of WON. He is active on the ImagiNation Network (INN) Revival Facebook group.

I found this file elsewhere on the Internet. It's a Windows Application Compatibility Toolkit v2.6 fix for the version 1.0.0.4 update patch for Trophy Bass 4... totally fixes the above-mentioned problem 😀

The TBass4.sdb file fix adds EmulateGetDiskFreeSpace *AND* GlobalMemoryStatusLie for the game's executable "TBass4.exe", which fixes the problem.

I have see this last reply......... and i have download the attachment but how i need to install this patch ?? I see the install.bat and it's use stbinst.exe whit a path %CD%.........

It's be patch also this games can be run whit a full screen activated ??

Or the all windows... like preferences setup it's open as background and it's not possibly to set all option............ like try to open the quit menu for see you need to move out of main screen... it's be open in the background like in a second level....
