Hi, I have some audio/emulation related projects and would like to share some audio clips for comments.
What sites do you use to share audio files in different formats (say up to 100 megabytes, wav, flac, vgm, whanot)?
Or do you just attach it in a forum post?

There are a couple other similar options for the same service, but MediaFire's standard is hard to beat. A good user experience, few limitations and very fast at no cost. They've been around for a long time, too. Very stable.

How about SoundCloud? This allows people to stream the audio, as well as download the original files if you allow it.

File types, size, and length
We support AIFF, WAVE (WAV), FLAC, ALAC, OGG, MP2, MP3, AAC, AMR, and WMA files.

The maximum file size is 5GB, and the longest file length we support is 6 hours and 45 minutes. Anything longer than that cannot be transcoded properly by our system. If your file exceeds these criteria, please split it into separate uploads.

Please be aware that we transcode all tracks to 128kbps mp3 for streaming playback. When you make your track downloadable, however, this allows your listeners to download your track in the same format you uploaded it in, without any additional transcoding.

Only downside is that free users are limited to 3 hours total audio, unless you get he ~$16/month unlimited plan.

I guess the advantage is that it's geared towards audio, it's not just a file dump like Mediafire/Mega/whatever.

With SoundCloud you essentially get a streaming lower-end bitrate MP3 transcoded preview before downloading, with integrated commenting and playlisting. (The transcoding means you get the degradation of the new compression added to whatever exists in the submitted files.) Users have to navigate menus to find the download option for the original files and log in to access them, and downloading collections of audio files is made harder as well. Fine for presenting non-critical stuff very quickly.
