Anyone get this game working on Windows 95 or MS-DOS when the source is one of those newer DOSBox packages you can download from the internet? I got Arena working by using the DOSBox folder from a CD-ROM, but can't seem to get Daggerfall working. It keeps telling me it can't find the CD or some crap like that.

PC System - Windows 95/DOS 6
Intel Pentium 200Mhz
640KB System RAM
40MB Extended RAM
20GB HDD
Sound Blaster compatible

EDIT: Ok, so I found a thread Daggerfall in dosbox says no cd where apparently it's looking for the CD tag "DAGGERFALL", which I DO NOT have on the CD-R I burned to put Arena and Daggerfall both on the older PC. Looks like I'll have to BUILD a CD-ROM just for Daggerfall to work properly. We'll see how it goes.

I got the GOG.com version working in MS-DOS 6.22 by copying the entire directory from my GOG folder to DOS (it was 425MB), then use the following in a batch file launcher:

fall.exe z.cfg

I think I still had to use the CD, and change the CD drive letter in z.cfg. Can't remember for sure at the moment.

The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know.

It doesn't use redbook CD audio, does it? If your old PC has enough hard drive space, you can always try SHSUCDHD with a BIN/CUE. FakeCD might also be sufficient; it can simulate volume labels.
