I played them all (Road to Hill 30, Earned in Blood and Hell's Highway) and I enjoyed them. They had pretty streamlined interface for commanding your squads. Its mostly tactical game mind you, when you constantly using one squad to suppress and the other to flank and advance on enemy. It was a new approach from all those run and gun FPS'es at the time. So it's more realistic in comparison with COD/MOH games especially on hardest difficulty where all your HUD elements are not shown. If you liked Band of Brothers book/miniseries this game might be for you.
I played the first one and really liked it
Guardian of the Sacred Five Terabyte's of Gaming Goodness
I also played all the WWII themed COD and MOH titles and was looking something similar when I first purchased Brothers in Arms. To say the truth, I'm not saying it is not good but I was disappointed how different the gameplay was when I first tried it. So, just be aware that it is different game (not a FPS, but a tactics game), but of course there is a big chance that you will like it, too.

the first 2 are really really good, the 3rd one got alot easier and more arcady
I have all 3 games but I've only played the first one fully and the 2nd one a few missions.
A lot of research went into it with recreation of how it was back then but limited by the game engine, there are always walls to flank enemy positions and such.
I liked it for what it was, a US soldiers view of the war á la Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers.

This was the one thing I didn't like about them, the dialogue and acting is really cringe worthy. Also the tactical element does get a bit boring as there's pretty much one way to proceed at any given time (suppress -> flank). In reality artillery and air support would be in bigger role, but then again it is a shooter where nothing happens unless the player manages to trigger an event. It's not a total loss, but I think all the WW2 shooters at that time milked BoB and SPR as much as they could.
