My Machine become very slow while a joystick was plugged in the soundcard port

I have an old 6 button joystick which plug into soundcard port.the Keymapper can recognize my joystick
If I do not plug it into the machine, the dosbox system runs very well, but it become terrible slowly after the joystick plugged no matter whether i use the keymapper.
