First post, by blougaville
Hey, I've been lurking the forums for a while but this is my first post. I was finally inspired by all the PhilsComputerLab videos to build a sweet SS7 machine similar to the first machine I ever built when I was a kid.
I have acquired an Asus P5A (rev 1.04) motherboard, and so far it's working well with a K6-2 400, but it looks like it might be missing two caps at the top of the board (nearest the power supply in an ATX case). It's hard for me to get a good picture while the board is in my case, so I attached a photo of the 1.04 revision board someone else posted to these forums and highlighted the two caps that are missing on my board. On mine, it looks like they have be desoldered or otherwise yanked off. Like I said, the board is running so far...but should I be worried about this?
Thanks in advance!
