What's in the box? Has 3 manufacturers on it.

Postby Jade Falcon » 2017-2-27 @ 06:48

So aways back I posted a eBay listing in the eBay thread with a video card with 3 manufacturers on the box with practically no info on the card. I tried asking the seller but he had no clue.

As time went on my curiosity got to me, so for $10 I bought one.

Anyone have a clue what the card is? (See attachment) I just bought the card and don't yet have it.
It may be a bitchin fast 3D 2000

Jokes aside going by the nvidia logo it could be a GeForce 5/6 card. It probably a crappie low end card. 9250, fx5200 or some old sis card

Maybe a daughterboard that can mount on several other graphic cards?

Just a generic box for whatever low-end card they wanted to sell at the time.

A surprise box :D

Keen to hear what's inside.

I'm guessing it's going to be a SIS!

It's going to be a piece of paper with a printout of a "3D Graphic" on it. Maybe even a Formula 1 race car. :)

Cool party poop
Looking at your box it seems abit different aside from being sun backed. Look at the NVidia logos, they abit different in size. But yeah I'm guessing its a rage card or tnt. Will be used for benching/testing and nothing else. Unless If I get lucky and its a voodoo3 or some other cool card.

Apparently a Rage XL with a single chip. But at least it's PCI  and it's on a black PCB (nice for anything Rage :P).

Maybe the driver disk might be the most interesting part here.

What's the date code on the PCB btw?
