However, to avoid anticipated confusion with ancient operating systems Windows 95 and 98, it will be renamed MS-DOS Anniversary Edition and released as an exclusive compulsory update for Windows 7, 8, and Vista users. The new Single Application Interface will reduce user confusion in the days of Twitter and Facebook, by enabling users with highly diminished attention spans to work on a single project with ease. Apps can be started by typing in a short, less-than-140-character command in the DOS Desktop Shell, which is also optimized to minimize energy consumption by offering exactly one background color: black. With the use of special optional DOS Extenders (signed by Microsoft and available via the DOS Store only; price TBD), users will gain the ability to use more advanced apps and games, such as "Photoshop LE DOS Special 8-bit mode" and "Code of Duty - Wireframe Assault".

Sure. The 33bit version was my favorite. It came with an improved disk fragmenter, frag.
I wonder how I could ever live without its awesome tools - halfspace, doubletime and selflink!
Man, it was so ahead of its time in several ways..
