not sure what started causing it but it errors out or goes to start then just exits. tested on 2.53, WIP29-31 thus far and all exhibit the same behaviour. Tried on my unpatched exe's for it and my nocd and no color check patched exe's. the only time VF2 will load is if i rename the DDraw.dll or go into passthrough mode in dgVoodoo (again, with patched and unpatched exe's for the bypasses).

It seems to work fine for me (WIP31):

The only issue was some flickering on the background, but I'm not sure if it's because of forced resolution.

ok, after a not welcome forced "refresh" of windows 10 from a login glitch, this started working on me. so i guess that something was broken as all hell in my install before.
