This is a really crazy question, but what are some of the best DOS games with a CD image size under 185MB? You know, for backup purposes. I've got some high quality mini CDs and want backups small enough to keep in my floppy disk holder. First one I tried was sam&max, but it was too big.

XPS 466V|486-DX2|64MB|#9 GXE 1MB|SB32 PnP
Presario 4814|PMMX-233|128MB|Trio64
XPS R450|PII-450|384MB|TNT2 Pro| TB Montego
XPS B1000r|PIII-1GHz|512MB|GF2 PRO 64MB|SB Live!
XPS Gen2|P4 EE 3.4|2GB|GF 6800 GT OC|Audigy 2

Too many to be named, and "Best" is subjective. So, yes, it's a crazy (and rather pointless) question.

If you already have the games you want to back up - just check their sizes.

If you don't have the games yet - then what exactly is there to "back up"? Surely you're not planning to add or not add games to your collection based on whether or not you can keep them on a mini-CD?

Duke Nukem 3D (1.3D only)
Doom II and Ultimate Doom
Heretic: Shadows
King's Quest V
Rise of the Triad
SimCity 2000 (pre-Special Edition/EA)
Space Quest IV (exactly 185mb though)
Strife
System Shock
Terminator Future Shock
Transport Tycoon Deluxe
X-Wing Collector's CD-ROM (1994 edition only)

Maybe various bundles (i.e. Star Control I + II CD, AD&D SSI/TSR packs from various companies)

What games on your disposal? Perhaps we could help you prioritize.

Never thought this thread would be that long, but now, for something different.....
