Hello Folks !!

I have just tested UAKM in Dosbox 062 and 063 and the game starts perfectly. The movies and sound are just as they should be, but in movement mode the games runs slowly (playable though). I have tested to adjust CPU up and down and making some adjustments with dosbox, but it seems like I have reached the top of what my computer can offer. My computer is:

1,8 Ghz AMD Athlon
128 MB Nvidia
1 GB Ram

Has anyone of you manage to get the game to run smoothly?? And if so...how fast does my computer need to be???

Thanks in advance

Have you tried it with Dynamic core and switching out DOS/4GW with DOS/32A?

Yes, it’s my fault.

Frameskip = choppy instead of slow. For me they make a game equally unplayable unless it's turn-based.

What operating system are you using? Unless you are using Windows XP you may not really need DOSBOX.

I do not know if it will work with Win2000, but look on this site.

There are several patches and DOS extenders which are designed for Win98se. Give them a try and let me know if they work.

Hello Again!

Thanks for all your help. I started by trying the Dos/32a extender and that did work quite good. The game is now much more playable =). I will also try the other suggestions and see what happens.

Many thanks all of you =)
