Hello.

Well I need a bit of light shed on this subject... I'm not sure if this error has been descovered already previously and if so, I apologize ahead of time for making you guys have to answer it again.

Well the installation and everything worked just fine, there were no errors and it ran smoothly. I've been running Tomb Raider with the TRExtreme (the new re-done textures, which looks magnificant btw) and got through the first two levels but on the Lost Valley level, I ran into this:

The GLIDOS logo just kinda was there and spinning in the middle of the screen... heh.. it does this on the title screen as well... I was wondering if this is a common problem and if there's any way I can fix it or if it's being worked on. I was going to buy GLIDOS since I have no other way to run TR on my computer (Windows XP and all that jazz... TR doesn't like it without GLIDOS) but if this error can't be fixed I'm not sure I will. 🙁 other than the error, I haven't had any other problems with it. It's a great program aside from this. ^^;

Thanks for your time,
~ Marie (aka Horus Goddess)

It's by design. If you buy GliDOS then the "error" will disappear.

I see. I was wondering if that might be it actually but I wasn't sure. ^^; Thanks for the heads up. 😁

A good rule of thumb when using any software, and before asking for help is:

1) Read the documentation
2) Read the documentation
3) Read the documentation

It states quite clearly on the Glidos website that the logo appears on level three:

http://www.glidos.net/install.html?lang=en

Actually I did take a lot of time looking around the site and the message board... I didn't find anything about this when I looked at the documentation... I guess I'm a bit blind sometimes. 🤣 I must've spent at least an hour looking for something that would answer my question elsewhere but, oh well.
