The first my voyage abroad was in 1991 - USSR was still present, but for the first time it; citisens were allowed to travel abroad alone, not in tourist groups. My father was a translater in the NYT, moscow bureau then, so he could afford it and we decided to go to England. As I was mad with the Beatles I asked them to go to Iiverpool, but it was hard so we spent some time in London. It was spring of 1991. The Technological Museum, Tower Bridge, Tower of London and the Baker ST, 225 impressed me most. Also we've seen the Misirables opera and many other places and museums... Also we searched for software for the Amstrad PCW8512 in a computer store - the episode I remember very well.))

Then in 1993 my family spent few weeks in Bulgary, former socialist country - just at the sea. I remember there was a museum, a WW-1 torpedo boat, placed in concrete - it impressed me very much as I always liked classic ane early XX century stuff.

In 1996 we visited the Maiorka island.

In 1996 we've been in England again. We stayed in Ayelsberry, a town near London. We rented a room in a cottage of one old Italian gentleman. One day an interesting event happened - in that cottage a phone rang, I answered and realised, that the man who spoke has Russian origins. It was that Italian's friend, former Soviet fighter pilot in WWII, who was show down, captured by the Germans, but later escaped with some English military men and then settled in England. Also one day I noticed a VAZ=21011 car there - it happened to be a club of people who collect Soviet Cars there). Also there was another funny incident. We've been to London one day during that voyage, to visit the Technology Museu again and bought a toy giroscope there as a souvenir. When I decided to open and use it while on the train to Aleysberry, a person next to us, thought we are "wild Russians - and never seen a computer before" - decided to show us a 486 laptop with color screen.) It was a sad reason to be there - my brother was at the Hopital in Alesberry after a car incident... But in general I've seen a lot of interesting on that voyage - the Cutty Sark, town of Oxford and a small English town. Also for the first time I touched then a modern x-86 laptop - brother had some machine with grayscalle screen - I remember playing DoomII on it - but don't remember what it was - IBM, Compaq, or what...( Also for the first time I've seen the Internet through a moblie phoe then and for the first time played the pool)

Then I've been to Poland - in 1997 and 1998. First time in Warsaw and Krakow, the Second in the Zakopan mountains. Mountains were very beautiful, looked liked in Tolkein's books - but I never liked skiing - so it was dull and nothing to do there in a small skiing resort...

Then my brother settled in Brasil in 1999. I've been there many times - twice in 2000, in 2002 and in 2007. We clebrated the Millenium on the Capacabana beach...) I've been to Rio, Sao Paolo, Paraty, Saqarema, Niterroy, Paqueta and many other places in the province. On the first three times to Brasil I was robbed on the streets for 4 times - I was told not take big money with me - but it was a shock every time. Once a teen just start pooling my Nikon FM3a camery just on the street - but I managed not to leave him to take it from me and he ran away. I put then my camera in backpack and in another 40 minutes some young man on the beach "asked" me to give them all my money) and told me they have a gun, knife and easily can beat me - so the first robber saved my camera - as then it was in my backpack and these guys didn't take it...)

but in general it were great trips and a great country... The second 2000 voyage changed me a lot. I' realised that I have to become an artist, the Grateful Dead become my favorite English speaking band and I began to make pictures in great numbers...

Then in 2008 my brother settled in Lisboa, Portugal. I've been there for few times. Been to Lisboa, Porto and a wedding party in the province.
In 2013 my wife and I were in Portugal and also we visited Spain...

Then in 2013 we visited the Ukraine. Our friends from artistical group ArtEria used to hold there an artistical festival "Zolotaya Kuvshinka" for 14 years then (Golden Water-Lilly) in ancient Putivl town in the Sumskaya District....
Because of that stupid war in Donbass and all that idiiotism that now between our two countries n - that festival couln't be held this year - as
Ukranians made a lot of trouble to get tourists there from Russia...( They are afraid of "Rusian spyes, we are afraid of their - it'a all very sad story...)

That's it here ... are some pictures from my blog

Also in 2000 was taken by bus ride to Berlin, Paris and Dresden with a school tour. But it was a stupiddly arranged voyage and not much interesting could see there ...((

The thought of a long haul flight doesn't appeal these days so I can't imagine that list will grow much, but New Zealand is in striking distance so I'd like to visit there one day.
