I found one of these for what seemed to be a reasonable price compared to all the CM-32L units that I have seen for sale so I went ahead and purchased it. It's on its way to me from Japan so I don't have it in my possession yet. It looks to be in new condition and has been verified to work with no problems. Not sure if it's true or not but from what I have heard the CM-32LN is a rarer find than the original CM-32L.
From what I understand it is the final version that was released of the CM-32L but works just like it. The case style looks a bit sleeker than the original CM-32L.
Does anyone know of any outstanding differences or improvements this version has over the original CM-32L?
Also, on the back there are 2 sets of MIDI input/output jacks. One set is labeled LA and the other MPU. I am going to be using this with DOSBox set to intelligent MIDI so I assume I would be only using the MPU input, right? Not sure what the LA input/output MIDI jacks would be used for but I assume for my use they will not be needed. If anyone can confirm my thoughts on this that would be great. This device was not cheap so I don't want to risk damaging it.
