I'd like to present an old computer on a event of the *Tolkienisty* - J.R.R.Tolkein fans - they will gather in a library, read their poetry, novels, discuss their stuff, role play games, etc... I'll make an exhebition of my photos about them there and also like to read a short lecture about retrocomputing ... Also they agree if I show them an old computer (I think it will be a fast 286) - to show games they can like - on phantasy topic and based on J.R.R.Tolien's boooks... Some I know, like the Dragon Strike, which was very popular here in early 1990s, some may not - any ideas ? )))

here's a photo from a role play game on the Sillmarillion) ...

Hmm lets see stuff relating to fantasy and/or Tolkien that will run on a 286 era pc:

1. Darklands (you might need a 386sx minimum but if it is a really fast 286 it might work, don't know never tried)
2. Pool of Radiance / Curse of the Azure Bonds / Secret of the Silver Blades
3. Eye of the Beholder I, possibly Eye of the Beholder II also
4. Might and Magic III (probably the best looking game of the series that will run on a 286
5. Moria (rogue-like with ASCII graphics)
6. Zork I, II and III (text adventure)
7. Wishbringer (text adventure)
8. Ultima VI (nicest looking Ultima that will run on a 286)
9. Champions of Krynn / Death Knights of Krynn / Dark Queen of Krynn (last one might need a fast 386sx)
10. Bard's Tale I, II and III

Do Russians play Dungeons and Dragons?

Is this too much voodoo?
