I have kind of a problem to identify matrox cards
because there are so many models and you have to look at the chip code

What type of matrox is this?
will it fully support windows 3.11 at high resolution and colors? with what drivers?

MGA-2064W ... Matrox Millenium I think.

You can find the Win 3.1 drivers on their site still at https://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/support/dr … atest/previous/

They also have the chip identifiers at https://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/support/dr … atest/identify/

Usually there is a sticker on the back side with model number on it.
Old drivers can be found at Matrox's website.

so
Chip Specs Card Name

1164 Mystique 220
2064 Millennium
2164 Millennium II

i finally have the well known millennium! card

It also features 220MHz RAMDAC and 4MB WRAM, if there are no RAM chips on the backside.
