@lazibayer, I've tried clearing the CMOS already. I don't have a BIOS reader/flasher either (will probably save up to get one).

@luckybob, ok this is interesting. HP supports ECC and non-ECC RDRAM. I'm reading the HP Kayak XM600 manual and it appears that even though there are 3 RIMM slots, only 2 RDRAM modules are supported. The last slot must be a terminator module called CTRIMM. The continuity module that I'm used to seeing is the CRIMM. I did not know the CTRIMM existed. And not having much luck on eBay finding one... lots of sellers calling CRIMM as terminators.

I've definitely tried 1x PC800 RDRAM with 2x CRIMM and it doesn't POST either.

Edit:

Another possibility is that it only takes 133 FSB CPU's.

This thread below states that CRIMM's or 3x RDRAM RIMM's should work.

Aren't those SB Pro and SB 2.0? You call those boring? 😮

That's not an SB pro, that's a Game Blaster, that's even better ! (well not really in it's capabilities, but in it's rarity)

Actually, the first one is the "legendary" game blaster - I think first Creative card ever made. I was just joking. They are not particularly boring. Not the first one at least 😀

I think this CT-1300A will be finally a perfect match for my IBM XT5160. I will put CT-1320A that currently sits inside in my XT/286 5162, when (if) I finally get it running, along with PAS 8 bit. I prefere to keep my cards within complete builds.

Hmmm... What makes the 5162 an XT system? I am a bit confused about that 16bit CPU and not 8bit in an XT system and not AT. Is it the way the motherboard has it's layout or the PSU or something else?

Don't eat stuff off a 15 year old never cleaned cpu cooler.

I always figured it was the PSU and keyboard standards (and of course the case styling).

Sweet sound cards, man. Looks like the CT1350B is a Sound Blaster 1.5 (my dad had that card back then).

I guess it's mostly the case. The computer was design in order to let IBM to get rid of all the cases and maybe some other parts left after 5160 production ceased.

Couple of new things

Supposedly the original 64MB Fullclock Radeon DDR
Now I have all 3 of the original TnL cards (GF256, Radeon DDR, and Savage2000)

g9cKovy.jpg

Matrox Productiva G100 4MB. I bought this because I wanted a card with a strong signal for 2D games and Matrox is the goa'uld standard.

Isn't that the Macintosh version? the ADC port and the extra gold connector on the left of the AGP connector gave it away, I think BIOS flashing is required to use those on PCs and even then I wouldn't expect ADC to work because of that extra gold connector providing power to ADC monitors which AFAIK was found only on the later G4 towers. Nice finds though.

Most likely it is MAC, just like this GF2 MX http://hw-museum.cz/vga/166/nvidia-geforce2-mx-mac (which is a part of my 733MHz G4)

Btw - Is there PC version of Radeon DDR with DVI (other than AIW)? I know Radeon SDR reference PCB has position for DVI (empty on most cards)... but DDR must be very rare if such thing even exists.

It's the Mac version? Damn it. I have no Macintoshs excluding my non-upgradable All in Ones.

I guess I should try to trade it for the PC version? At least Mac versions are usually more valuable. I mean I'm sure I could flash it but I don't know if I would still get the full 64MB/183MHz clock speed.

Bought this lot for 25 euro including shipping. Guess which one was the reason for buying it? 😉 The K6 and 486 are also nice.
