does anyone knows how can I make the joystick to cooperate fully with dos box games? the only thing i tried it was to plugged it in (usb port, front panel of the main unit), but it didn't seem to work at all. do i have to dowload specific software for that? any help would be highly appreciated.

Is the joystick enabled for dosbox? USB joysticks should work without problems.

well thisis it. the joystick work without problems with other windows games, but when i tried to play "elite" on dos box, it didn't. to be honest, i havent tried with other dos box games, but that is something i am going to do now!!
is it any other way to "enable" the joystick for dos box games, apart from plug it in and play?

If the joystick is working and configured in Windows, then DOSBox should detect it on startup and display information about the joystick in DOSBox's console window. If this is happening then in DOSBox it should act just like a normal 2-button joystick plugged into a DOS computer.
