So what is the whole point for most of your to collect old hardware from 8086 up to 478, when many of you will play the retro and old games on your main machines that are milion times faster then the old machines ?
Zero sense... And still for newer XP games like Crysis 1 (totally bugged game in terms of optimizations it run like crap on all hardware new or old) something like dual core 939 Athlon64 or C2D 775 , pared with like Radeon HD4870 it will be ok....

Unless you make money with it, thus you require to make the optimal gain/effort decisions, the point is _entirely up to you_.

For all intents and purposes, I collect pentium pros because I have an irrational fear of them and want to destroy EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM 😀
