It's on Steam Early Access if you don't mind paying to try it out in an unfinished state.

Thanks, I have it on my radar - also bought their Rad Rogers game when it was released but haven't played it yet.... Btw 3D Realms share many info in their fb account - even some game betas/alphas so it would be worth for anyone interested to follow them there.
Ps. I want a DOS version 🤣 🤣 🤣
BTW, this is Voidpoint's debut title, so it's a new development team. One very experienced with the Build engine. The preview campaign is fantastic. I can't wait for the full release. There are SO MANY secrets! Map design, art style, music, and sound design are really freaking good.
If you don't like Steam you can get it DRM-free from 3DR's webstore. Also, if you happened to have bought Bombshell Digital Deluxe then you get the preview campaign for free.

Thanks for the headsup! Going to buy on GOG when it becomes available.
"True tracked module music!"
Oh yes, that sold me right there. Love the 90's era tracker music. 😁
The music was apparently made in MilkyTracker.
Not true enough for me...

It's worth noting that the Preview Campaign contains exclusive levels that will not be part of the full game. So the Preview Campaign is pretty much "finished", as in it's not an obvious beta/WIP version. I gather there will be some patches/updates for it but no content additions. Of course, the full game is still in the works, and will probably differ from the preview in some aspects apart from different levels.
You also get the prequel campaign (Windows & Linux) at GOG.com with the purchase of Bombshell Digital Deluxe Edition.

Huh... for the last couple of days, ever since it was announced, my mind read IRon Maiden... Just now read it correctly...
I wonder if this game will run on pentium.
I must be some kind of standard: the anonymous gangbanger of the 21st century.
Niiiiice. Makes me think dosbox is a fine target for new games, people who play on steam will never know the difference, while we get a game that works fine on old retro hardware. Sb16 and midi support and everything.

Certainly not in current form. Executable is 64-bit application, looks like it's source port based on eDuke32. There are some other changes, for example GRP file is not really GRP file. Ion Maiden is using just normal ZIP file, which is renamed to GRP. Will see, if they will release source code for it later in future.
