How much do you want for the card?

Awesome. Loved when the fans come on and also your comment about it taking up much less space.

What kind of case did they expect it to fit in? No wonder they went out of business. And I am surprised you could drive all those chips over an AGP bus.

It was 3DFx's special proprietary "AGP-XTREME-EZ-KILLZIT-INSANE-WOW-BUS" adapter which fit into the AGP slot and three PCI slots to get enough throughput to make it work.

I love it. So it is a mock-up related to this? I don't remember a Voodoo5 9000 specifically.

Was there a cutoff date to photoshop these and see them built or can we still submit? xD

I must be really outdated with technology. Has CGI gone mainstream into the consumer market and has improved to the extent that it doesn't take so much time?

I saw this prank all over forums, reddit and facebook, great job 😀

It raises an interesting point though, why hasn't Nvidia capitalized on the Voodoo/3DFx brand? They seem oblivious to the nostalgia people have for it, and other companies are exploiting this, Nintendo with their classic/mini consoles, and Yamaha with their Reface keyboards.

Probably because 3dfx users are still sore about how it went down back then. And Nvidia is nost likely aware of this.

Still sore after almost 20 years? Thats a little extreme. I think at this point people would just be happy to be reminded of the exciting times they had playing games on Voodoo cards. In the late-90s having a Voodoo card was a big deal.

I'm still sore. The only time I ever used Nvidia was when I had to do a pc for someone quickly and it was the only card I could get right away. And that was 15 years ago and not for myself.
So yeah, to me it would be a slap in the face. Similar to EA's Origin store.
