Correct DosBox setting for Frontier (shareware version)

Hi there im useing winxp sp2 with latest version of DosBox and D-Fend. Frontier runs ok if i just copy and paste into DosBox but it doesnt seem qite right ,Im wondering does anybody know of the best or correct setting for this game useing DosBox and D-Fend if you can give as much info as possible that would be great

"it doesn't seem quite right " is awful vague about what is wrong.
Is it the sound/speed or does it crash......

And please keep in mind that most settings are depended on your own pc. (performance wise) So it's essential to include at least your CPU speed

Spechere are amd 1.7ghz 756mb ddr2100, ok ill try and explain
Sound sounds funny
Game running speed seems slow
Joystick reaction speed seems slow all other stuff in background is turned off, latest mobo and other drivers, the biggest problem im haveing is not knowing which cpu speed to run at other things related to that like core
