Okay, this is not a problem with DosBox (I don't think), but when I run the game from the Floppy after mounting it. It says Please instert the original disk. And It is the original floppy disk. Can anyone help me?

I think that this is the copy protection that you are coming up against. see this thread:

I also had problems with the original disks from The Heart of China and DOSBox. I had to install from real DOS and then copy it back to my XP box.

Check the label of the disk in windows, because you might have to mount the drive with the exact same label.

There is another way, that involves switching the interpreter with another sierra game that doesn't need protection. If the first thing I told you doesn't work...let me know and I'll tell you have to do it. 😎

Actually, I forget where, but you can find them on the web with the copy protection removed. Since you have the originals it is legal (or at least should be).

If you mean the interpreter, then you have to make sure its compatible...because some games need certain versions. If you mean the game, well....thats "technically" illegal. 😉

Okay, I did some searching and found the SQ1 with the copy protection removed. And I don't even need dosbox to run it. It works fine in windows xp. I wonder how that works. 😀 Anyway thanks for the help guys.
