I downloaded a copy of kq6 off of xtc abandonware. I DO NOT HAVE THE CD VERSION.

I've gotten everything to work using dosbox (latest version as of 9/17/05) and can play the game fine except for the sound problem. I searched and found threads related to this but could not find a solution.

I tried switching to thunderboard and that didn't work. I tried to download AUDBLAST.DRV, but could not find it.

Is it possible to hear the speech sound without an authentic CD version? Any help is appreciated.

There was a CD and a Floppy version. The later lacks speech for all but the opening video.

11MB, that's the floppy version. Meaning no in game speech to be had.

Do you know where I can download the CD version? If this is illegal in someway, e-mail/PM me.

Yes, it is illegal. Even posting the link to xtc is against forum regulations. You can buy the CD version quite cheaply in lots of places (check out eBay [it's on there for one dollar at the moment, just search], the bargain bin at shops that sell PC games, on-line retailers such as Amazon etc)
