Hi, I am trying to play Lands of Lore The Throne of Chaos on dosbox. I got it installed and got the prompt (d:\westwood\lolcd>lolcd) to run the game! So I type in the prompt and it tells me to insert the cd into drive z. I can't seem to do this and I can't seem to mount it any differently. Whenever I try to mount the z to something else, is say that z is already mounted with internal virtual drive. How do I get it to read the disk in my cdrom? I have tried all the things in the "read me" section (mount z d:\ -t cdrom usecd 0 -iotcl) and it says mscdex failure drive letters of multiple cdrom drives have to be continuous drive d already mounted with local directory c:\.. What do I do (I don't have multiple cdrom drives BTW)??? Thanks!

It looks like from your mount command that your trying to creative a virtual "Z" drive using your host "D" drive. There are some problems with this....

1. Most DOS games expect the CD to be the "D" drive.
2. DosBox already has a Z drive. It's used for it's internal commands so you cannot mount it.

The correct mount command would be: "Mount d d:\ -t cdrom".

The first "d" is the virtual DosBox CDROM and the second "D:\" is your host CDROM drive.
