I have download the DOS version of Pool of Radiance from Home of the Underdogs but none of the codes from the wheel work. I even found a site that will gives you the codes, so I know they are right. It always says the codes are incorrect at the starting screen.

I have a feeling I have heard somewhere it is a cracked version (so either nothing should be entered or just one specific code - I am not sure)...

Try hitting Enter or clicking OK or whatever, without entering anything. If the game is cracked then that will usually work. If not, check for a readme file.

There wasn't a readme (that would have been to easy) so I started opening every file in wordpad and found a file called "crack.nfo". It's a regular text file but has the nfo extension so I overlooked it, it has the Code info in it.

The code to start the game is sirjoe.Later must be used the wheel.
