I'm trying to run Loom using Dosbox on my 1.2 Ghz iBook G4. everything works fine until i tell it to run loom.exe. Then it asks me to insert CD 1 and press enter. Well, as far as I know, loom only HAS 1 CD, so I'm not sure what to do. Any help would be very appreciated. Also, if i continue to press enter, it starts to say that it cnnot find 000.LFL, but i see it right there on the CD. Could there be somethign wrong with the CD or Dosbox? Or am i typing commands wrong? Thanks in advance

Also, if you're not aware of this program, I would recommend you use ScummVM for playing Loom instead of DOSBox.

Thank you. I tried it, and it did mount as a CD. it said "MSCDEX: Mounted subdirectory: limited support" but it said it was mounted as a cdrom. I'm kind of new at ths, so im not sure what the limited support part meant. I tried to run loom.exe again, but it kept asking for CD 1 as usual. Any other ideas?

Are you actually mounting directly to the CD? On Windows I usually get the "Mounted subdirectory" if I mount from the hard drive. I'll have to boot into Linux to see if I get that message when mounting the cd from /mnt but I wouldn't think you'd receive that error message unless you were mounting the CD from the HD.

As Freddo suggested try ScummVM www.scummvm.org.

Thank you very much! Loom did work with ScummVM, so I'm all set. Now I just have to see if I can get a few other old games working
