What a lovely looking system you've got there.
For some reason, the PC-98 platform (particularly its fair share of Windows versions) has piqued my interest ever since I got back into Windows betas in 2012/13. I wonder if that system can run the PC-98 version of Windows 2000 (it had very limited hardware support on that platform).
Those use an exotic floppy disk format don't they?
"This all reminds me when i took the windows vista sticker thingy off my old laptop, and on my washing machine as a joke. A few days later said washing machine stopped working. I still think this cannot be a coincidence."
Oh man, I'm always glad to see more Japanese computers. Aside from a few buying guides and a handful of cursory videos on YouTube I haven't seen much. That thing is super imposing too, very beefy. What are you planning to run on it? I have at least one PC-98 on my to-grab list so I can stumble my way through Giten Megami Tensei and whatever other oddballs I can get my hands on.
I spend my days fighting with clunky software so I can afford to spend my evenings fighting with clunky hardware.
