Motherboard GA-5AX Rev 3.0 doesn't work. It might be having some kind of power issue. I used one of those 4 digit diagnostic cards that have both isa and pci connectors to see post codes. I think it might be having some kind of power related problem. If I put PCI or AGP video card, I get beeps from pc speaker that there is no video card. If I insert ISA video card, those no video card beeps disappear but there is nothing on screen. If I insert the diagnostic card to pci slot, post stops at code 410d, but if I insert the diagnostic card card to a isa slot it doesn't show anything like there isn't power at all.

There is no bulging capacitors, but is there any chance recapping motherboard would help?
Is the motherboard simply just dead?
I would appreciate any advice.

Edit: It seems that the diagnostic card is broken. It doesn't show anything in a isa slot even if I put it in a working motherboard.

always start simpel: reseat the cpu, reseat the ram (or better: try other components) but also reseat the bios chip and every single jumper.
I had some very minor corrosion before on a jumper pin and the board did not post.

I have tried both pentium and K6 cpus and I have tried ram in all the slots. Only thing I haven't done yet is touched the bios chip. Everything that isn't part of the motherboard has been changed multiple times.

A pci slot has a key so you can't insert debug card into it in a wrong way. But an (8bit part) isa slot doesn't. Do you install the POST card into an isa connector respecting PIN1 ?
