DOSBox 0.63/Various 0.63 CVS all with D-Fend

Hello all,

I've been trying to get Tyrian 2000 to work with DOSBox 0.63 recently and have gotten no where. Where should I start? Well, first of all, I can never get Tyrian's setup program to save the configurations I set everytime. That means no sound or music. Second of all, when I do run Tyrian itself it crashes with runtime error 005 whenever entering a stage.

I've tried doing a search about it and applying the patchers to see if it would change anything; I've no luck so far though the patching process itself was successful. I've even tried using various CVS builds to see if that would work either, still nothing.

I'm just about at my wits' end.

I tried using the following sound settings:
MPU-401 for MIDI
SB16 Emulation @ standard DOSbox settings

Using Dynamic core @ 15000 cycles
Used Normal core @ 6000 cycles

Anything I can try that might help?
