This is a build I have always wanted to do.
To Build the Ultimate 486dx4-100 computer.
Or at least building a very good and stable 486dx4-100 computer.
I don't want to over clock just build a good stable computer.

I purchased this Gigabyte GA-486vs motherboard.
http://www.motherboards.org/files/manuals/47/486vs8a.pdf

It looks NEW. I don't think it has had any or at least very little use.
The barrel battery still looks good with no leakage or corrosion.
The capacitors still look good with no leakage or swelling.
I have not tried to power-on this motherboard yet as I am still gathering up parts.

It came with an Intel 486dx4-100 CPU and 8mb ram.

I would like some advice on the best cards to use for DOS and Win3.11

I have some questions specific to this motherboard.
Please see manual above.

What jumper setting should I use for Green function ?
What jumper setting should I use for VLB bus speed ?
What jumper setting should I use for VLB bus clock ?

The manual reads that this motherboard is compatible with DOS/OS2/Novell/SCO/UNIX. I assume FREE BSD.
