I made a little cheat system for DOSBox. It technically works better than DOSShark because it doesn't rely on version specific builds.

This is a great addition - and a very nice and elegant implementation as well! As somone with limited gaming time, cheats can bring a new dimension to some games or open up new levels and such.. so I find them a fun addition to use every now and then.

Do you have plans to add runtime features? (l'm thinking hotkeys to allow toggling them on or off, perhaps with a little audio or visual indicator).

Regarding the cheats themselves, I've forgotten if there was a DOS-baeed TSR cheat tool that scanned for memory changes. Is there something you recommend or do you know of a database of compatible cheats/values? Edit: I see at 5:22 in your video you recommend Cheat Engine and show how to link it to DOSBox; nice!

Now a plugin system would make sense
