Iam installing a lot of my BIG BOX games on a dos machine, and i have ran in to trouble with many of the games has corrupt files or just one file..
This game i came all the way to floppy 4, the last one.. I cant read any of the 2 files resource.000 and resource.004, both from floppy 4 of 4.
Pleas if someone had those file for me to replace!

Yes the version have to be exactly the same to, i just hope pray there is someone out there 😀

Yes, 1.033 fixed some bugs related to the score I think.

I dont have a 5.25drive at the moment..
My guess is, as this is file .004 on floppy 4, 001 is floppy 1 and so on. Maybe the files on the 5.25 is split different?
Someone knows? 😀

I dont know how to get a md5sums from that file as iam not able to read it.
But my file size should be:
resource.000 26 989kb
resource.004 670 883kb

My guess is that those files where from the 1.023 version? Wrong size.

Understood; I was thinking we could compare the md5sums for any of the resource files that are still readable on your floppies. Maybe you can read 000 through 003?

If the map file on disk 1 is identical then the resource files would most likely be the same, however if any between versions are different sizes there is little point in comparing the hash.

Have you tried Roadkil's Unstoppable Copier? I have had decent luck with it in the past. http://www.roadkil.net/program.php?ProgramID=29
